Static ropes are used for special purposes such as Search and Rescue, Rope Courses, Fixed Lines or Haul Ropes. These ropes have minimal elongation and are not designed to be used in circumstances where dynamic properties are required. Having said that, the KM-III static ropes are burly, durable ropes, great for caving, rescue operations and repelling. They are NFPA approved. 7/16" is equivalent to 11.1mm. 300 and 600-feet length is available. Please contact us for more information.
