Description
Life-Link poles are designed and tested in the Tetons by backcountry engineers. Grips have a six degree corrective angle, and adjustable staps atached to quick release clips. By using short upper and longer lower, these poles have excellent swing weight, less drag, and low total weight.
Quick probe conversion is achieved by unscrewing the lowers from the uppers and simply screwing the two lowers together to form a uniform diameter probe. To aid in adjustments, the lower shafts have a treated aluminum oxide material section that allows the pole to be easily gripped in any weather condition.
Most traditional adjustable poles compress (slip) at a given weight. Life-link's unique design of an ovalized lock cannot spin inside the oval upper shaft.
All poles offer quick release ferrules for easy removal of the baskets, and each pair of poles comes with two pairs of baskets: a 2.5" disk basket for hard pack, racing or trekking, and a 3.5" snowflake basket for soft snow conditions. Carbide Flex-Tips are the standard on most poles.
Life-link poles are the perfect tools for serious backcountry hounds.
